When ladies are 45 years and above they are faced by various complications. Though some do not, majority of women undergo through menopause stage where they are forced to fight some changes which are inevitable. Research has shown how ladies can use natural soy products to deal with these symptoms but it turned out that high intake of these foods have effects to their bodies. Just take a look at some of the side effects one is exposed to when they use soy products for hot flashes.

Despite having been proven to relief menopause symptoms, not all soy products are useful. However, when using them one has to be aware of these effects that they are going to have on their bodies. Soybeans are known to have high level of phytic acid than other legumes or grains.

Soy products have proven to be the most effective ones and commonly used by women to cure hot flashes symptoms. This is due to the presence of isoflavones which has its healing properties of different symptoms in the body.

Apart from prevention of menopause symptoms soy basically have also been used in the prevention of cancer and more so breast cancer. A study conducted in Asia on women who consumed the traditional soy products when they were young or at their teenage stage had low chances of suffering from breast cancer compared to their counterparts.

Soy is known to increase estrogen levels in our bodies. Estrogen is a female hormone that helps contribute to secondary characteristics like breast growth. Consumption of the products in large quantities will increase the hormone and it may eventually lead to hormonal imbalance. This can reduce the fertility in women who experience these symptoms early and may be planning to have babies.

To ensure that these effects have been kept as minimal as possible one must consume the recommended soy products quantity daily for optimal estrogen supply. When estrogen levels go down, they contribute to increased anxiety levels and mood swings. This can adversely affect your job and the way you socialize with your colleagues at the work place. Sometimes it can even lead to poor interaction between you and your clients.

On the other hand using soy beans oil when cooking purposes can lead to weight gain. This is according to a research which was conducted on the product by Maryland Medical Center. Women who are overweight during their menopause are not advised to use soybean oil in their diet in order to avoid chronic inflammation which may lead to heart complications.

In the United States most soy beans are genetically modified. This means that they can withstand any kind of pesticide that may be used to kill the pests without harming the plant itself. This simply means that a lot of people may be exposing themselves to carcinogens without knowing. This can pose a lot of health problem to our bodies than we thought. To void exposure to these harmful chemicals, it is recommended to use the organic soy beans.
